Hi, I'm Michael Bell and I create everything that you see on this website by hand.  My picture is on the left.   This was at my daughters wedding and she was married beneath the arbor in the picture.   It is now installed in the new couples backyard for a continuing reminder of that day. 

The design mimics a dogwood treated as a vine.  Entwining a number of vines makes a strong, full shape to sweep up and over for the arch.  I've never seen a dogwood vine, but, why not?
